Today's Children - The Indigos and Crystals

Since 1978 a new generation of children has introduced a different vibrational energy to the earth. These children are different from any generation that we have ever seen. They are more evolved and spiritually aware. They are more demanding, more critical and less accepting of the status quo. These children demand that we change and they are very capable of carrying out their mission, to carry the earth and humanity through the Shift in Consciousness, with or without our help, permission or support.

The new children known by different names—they are called Star Children, Crystals and Indigos.  While they share similar characteristics, they are also somewhat different.  To someone who is spiritually aware, the first noticeable difference is their aura, which contains higher vibrations and different energies, including different colors. The Indigo children were the first generation and are now represented in today’s teenagers. Indigo children are wise beyond their years.  ‘I know that’ is a phrase that they frequently use and while it can be frustrating to parents, the truth is that they do know many things. They are also very perceptive about others and are prone to saying the most ‘politically incorrect’ thing at the most inappropriate moment. But social conventions are not part of their understanding. They know what has to be said and they are not afraid to say it. 

But Indigos have had a difficult time here. They are what I call the ‘Ritalin generation,’ because it is their at times extreme behavior problems that created mass prescription of pharmaceutical products such as Ritalin, Wellbutrin and Adderal. But does the problem lie with the children or with the system that they cannot adjust to? These children were and still are unable to cope with the existing low-level energies and so do what they do best, they rebelled and created a revolution. The generations before them were accustomed to accepting the status quo—not the Indigos. They represented the ‘calm before the storm’ so to speak, because they prepared us for the next generation of even more evolved children, the Crystals.

Crystals are the children who have been arriving since the late 1990s. The difference between Indigos and Crystals lies in their vibrational energies and their auras—Crystals have an even higher frequency than Indigos and their auras contain unique colors never experienced before, or at least not that we have ever been aware of. With Crystal children has come an astonishing increase in autism, a condition where the child simply tunes out the world. These children have very strong emotional and spiritual needs and their high vibrations make it very difficult for them to participate in the world as it exists. When things get too tough for them, they simply cannot cope and they retreat to the peace and safety of their own inner world.

Both of these types represent new vibrational energies that we will have to consider as we move forward through the Shift. They have shown us, through their inability to cope with what we have accepted for generations, that changes must be made. Our school systems, social structures, families, ways of life, have followed patterns that have not changed for many generations. And yet, they no longer serve our needs. These children will make it very clear to us where we need to make changes and what needs to happen next. I hope that we will listen to them.
