What is a TELE-CLASS?

   A Tele-Class is a class offered over the phone.

As long as you have a phone (or cell phone), you can participate in a tele-class.  This makes it very convenient for you:  You don't need to travel, get a babysitter, or even be presentable!  You can be wearing your pajamas and no one will know!

When you register for a tele-class, you receive a phone number to dial in at the date/time of the tele-class.  You also get a passcode that you enter when the audio conference service first answers your call.

Once you enter the passcode, you are transferred to the tele-conference call for the class you registered.  You will listen to Dumari and all the participants who have already called in.  Other participants are able to listen to you as well, unless you mute yourself out.

You can mute yourself by pressing *6.

During the call, you are able to ask questions and share your comments.

Each call is recorded for your convenience.  After class, Dumari emails you a link to the tele-class' recording.  This allows you to listen to the class again if you missed it or if you wish to review it.

Note that even if the tele-class is 'Free', long-distance phone charges apply to tele-classes.  You can check your personal phone service for details.
